As it allows any device to connect and transfer data over a network without requiring minimal human or computer interaction, IoT enables us to create various connections with and within our environments.
10 years is a milestone where you stop to count all the things you are proud of and thankful for. In our case, we’re most proud of our colleagues. Some of our colleagues are with us since the foundation of the company, others joined the fun a little bit down the road. It is exciting to see their careers evolve over the years together with the company. In this article (the first in a mini-series) we share a few of the Qubiz team members’ career stories.
The Intelligent Health Summit in Basel, Switzerland were two days packed with interesting conversations and presentations on how technology will shape healthcare. If you didn’t make the event, here are our main takeaways from the event.
We are happy to announce that Qubiz has partnered with Sioux, a Dutch tech company centred on cutting edge technologies and innovation.
Given the ubiquity of smart devices and the swift advances in artificial intelligence, what was once a thing of the future is happening as we speak.
Technology has long taken the lead, driving change and innovation across different fields and industries from music to logistics, health, and finance. Digital transformation and integrating technologies into current business practices can mark the difference between success and failure for any company, regardless of size, industry or operations.
For the past 10 years, Qubiz has delivered software solutions and services in healthcare and health-tech, developing a sound expertise within this field. Also, our vast experience with various technologies has enabled us to create solutions with a considerable impact on how medical services are being delivered.
Given our solid background in healthcare, we’re very excited to join the conversation about machine learning and artificial intelligence in this field. Thus, our colleagues Gabriel Gego and Botond Gagyi will be attending the upcoming Intelligent Health Summit in Basel, Switzerland on the 12th & 13th of September.
Yet, a company is made of its people and we’re one big team. The occasion also called for mentioning some of our special, somewhat personal moments.
So, here we go, 10 fun memories from 10 years of Qubiz.
It’s always a good time to pick up a book, but August is a particularly great month for reading. During a vacation you have all sorts of downtime: traveling, working on your tan on the beach, staying in line in front of a museum, etc. Having something to read makes the time fly.
So we gathered a bunch of books that we, the Qubiz Team, recommend. We kept in mind that during summer you might prefer lighter subjects, so we skipped the Microsoft Certification Exam guidebooks! Without further ado, let’s see the titles:
Yes, this year we marked 10 years of Qubiz and with this occasion we wanted our Summer Camp to be special. The HR and Qubiz overall didn’t spare any effort to achieve this, and in the end, our colleagues and loved ones were spoiled with a fantastic long weekend full of surprises, fun activities (more on this later), and relaxation.
Pics or it didn’t happen!
To Arsenal Park for the third time in a row!
We like Arsenal Park, but this wasn’t the reason why we chose the location for the third time in a row. The truth is, our Cluj & Oradea offices combined account for 170+ colleagues. And then we invited our partners and kids, resulting in an astonishing figure of 282 people. Arsenal Park is among the few locations that can accommodate such a big number of tourists. Here’s what 282 people look like:
In 2015 we shared 7 tips to make to most of your vacation. A few days ago – while planning the 10th annual Qubiz Summer Camp – we revisited the list and found that it’s still very relevant. So we decided to rewrap the main points in a more visual way. Without further ado, enjoy the following infographic.
