After we were designated the National Winner for Romania in The Workplace and People Development Award category at the European Business Awards in 2018, it was high time for us to be recognised locally as well.
When we wrapped up 2017, we had no idea what 2018 would have in store. As our 10 years anniversary was coming up, we had a slight idea that it would be something different.
Yet this year was a ride beyond what we have ever hoped for.
Here are the highlights:
As it allows any device to connect and transfer data over a network without requiring minimal human or computer interaction, IoT enables us to create various connections with and within our environments.
We are happy to announce that Qubiz has partnered with Sioux, a Dutch tech company centred on cutting edge technologies and innovation.
Given the ubiquity of smart devices and the swift advances in artificial intelligence, what was once a thing of the future is happening as we speak.
Technology has long taken the lead, driving change and innovation across different fields and industries from music to logistics, health, and finance. Digital transformation and integrating technologies into current business practices can mark the difference between success and failure for any company, regardless of size, industry or operations.
For the past 10 years, Qubiz has delivered software solutions and services in healthcare and health-tech, developing a sound expertise within this field. Also, our vast experience with various technologies has enabled us to create solutions with a considerable impact on how medical services are being delivered.
Given our solid background in healthcare, we’re very excited to join the conversation about machine learning and artificial intelligence in this field. Thus, our colleagues Gabriel Gego and Botond Gagyi will be attending the upcoming Intelligent Health Summit in Basel, Switzerland on the 12th & 13th of September.
On 22nd of May we went to Warsaw to participate at the European Business Awards Summit, the final stage of this year’s edition of the most prominent business contest in Europe. The event took place over two days and encompassed judging sessions (more on that in a couple of lines), workshops, networking cocktails and the awards ceremony.
Qubiz was named National Winner for Romania in the The Workplace and People Development Award category at the European Business Awards! Thus we made it to the final stage of the competition where we’ll attend, along with companies from across Europe, the judging and awards ceremony gala in Warsaw, Poland, on 22nd & 23rd May 2018.
Qubiz has been named as “One to Watch” in Europe by the European Business Awards, thus making it to a list of companies that have demonstrated exceptional achievement in innovation, business success, and ethics. We’re eager to see what the next phase of the competition will bring us!
One of the thing that defines us, as a company, is the willingness to improve. By this time next year, we want to be even better than we are now.
To help us achieve our goal, Carly Schone joined us in November as Director, with a focus on operations and delivery. Originally from the Netherlands, Carly has 9 years of experience overseeing large teams and complex IT projects.
Instead of a static, long introduction, we thought we’d do a short interview with him. Read on to find out more about Carly.
